Distaff day 2016 yesterday at St. Peter’s Hall was another humming success.
We were 72 strong, and the overall tally of our combined spinning years was hundreds.
There was no program for the day with a relaxed structure of the day for a change.
Some wonderful shows and tells, lots of visiting, and high tea that went from 10 til 4. And all those wheels! – even a wee pocket wheel. And Cheryl Huseby read us a tale – a yarn – from The Red Tent by Anita Diamant about a little girl learning to spin.
